We ARE Renewables is looking for two Work Planner- Concrete for one of our clients in the engineering sector

Location: Amsterdam/Leiden 
1 year contract


In this role of Work Planner, you can play an important role in realizing leading and often complex projects for the Business Line Infra from your concrete discipline. In addition to complex projects, we also carry out less complex works, where you as a project engineer are the linchpin between design, work preparation, purchasing and realization on multiple projects and/or tenders. From your role, you are part of our leading projects such as the widening of the A2 Vonderen-Kerensheide, the construction of Royerssluis and the Oosterweel junction in Antwerp, the redevelopment of the traffic situation in Bruges and the RijnlandRoute N206 Europalaan near Leiden.

As a Work Planner, you and your team are responsible for preparing and supervising (complex) multidisciplinary tenders and projects within the Business Line Infra. The Business Line Infra realizes the projects  within the dry Infrastructure. We do this as an integral contractor based on cooperation, professional knowledge and one wallet. As a Work Planner, you work in a multidisciplinary team with specialists in the field of road construction and civil concrete construction. Based on your knowledge and experience, you are the team's go-to person and support and confidant for substantive issues.

Your responsibilities:
  • Reviewing the work of colleagues, subcontractors and clients to ensure that tenders, projects and designs are carried out in accordance with the Requirements;
  • Making work plans and inspection plans;
  • Setting up planning in collaboration with implementation;
  • Coordinating the purchasing of materials and subcontracting;
  • Responsible for the delivery file and its management;
  • Cost monitoring with regard to suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Convince customers and internal stakeholders of the feasibility and safety of the offered solution/method and the associated specifications;
  • Reporting and providing support to the (integral) project manager.

Your profile:
  • A completed MBO and/or HBO education in civil engineering;
  • At least 4 years of experience with a (medium) large contractor in a role such as project engineer / work planner, project coordinator or executor;
  • Knowledge of Design & Construct contracts.
  • Dutch language is required
