As a work planner, you can play a crucial role within your road construction discipline in the realization of this leading project for the Business Line Infra. The A2 Het Vonderen - Kerensheide project includes the structural widening of a route of approximately 18 kilometers, whereby the current peak lanes are upgraded to 2x3 full-fledged lanes with emergency lanes. This ambitious project requires the complete replacement of 11 intersecting structures and the removal of two cross-connections with the A2. The widening of this important traffic artery will not only improve traffic flow, but also contribute to the economic development of the region by strengthening the connection with important hubs such as Brainport Eindhoven and Greenport Venlo.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Translating the design into a safe implementation
• Creating work plans and inspection plans.
• Setting up planning in collaboration with implementation.
• Coordinating the purchasing of materials and subcontracting.
• Responsible for the delivery file and its management.
• Cost monitoring with regard to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Reporting and providing support to the (integral) project manager.
Profile requirement
- A completed MBO and/or HBO education in civil engineering;
- At least 5 years of experience with a (medium) large contractor in a role such as project engineer/work planner, project coordinator or (main) executor;
- Experience in road construction is a strict requirement for this;
- Knowledge of Design & Construct contracts;
- Good knowledge of the Dutch language, spoken and written;
- You are independent and have a proactive attitude!
