Civil Engineer
Function:
We are looking for a Structural / Civil Engineering Engineer to provide services to the Bay Replacement program team. As a member of the program team, you play an important role in supporting the program for the entire BRP. You carry out work in the field of engineering and design within the project team. You consult with the various stakeholders involved in drawing up the integration designs of the stations within the scope of BRP and in the assessment of the architectural design within BRP. Station experience (HV) is not a must. A candidate with a civil engineering or construction degree (no residential construction/utility experience!) is eligible. A high-voltage station contains many structural elements, such as supporting structures. This knowledge is currently lacking, which is why this hiring request has been created.
Responsibilities:
- Developing architectural designs regarding components, buildings and (temporary) structures at the station;
- Developing different options per station to arrive at the most optimal conversion scenario per station;
- Developing route drawings for cables and/or lines and their integration into the old and new station;
- Developing sketches detailing alternatives for mast adjustments, new masts, portals and line tensioning.
Wanted:
- A HBO or WO course in Civil Engineering or comparable;
- An affinity with high-voltage technology;
- Familiarity with the principles, standards and regulations within industry / infrastructure;
- Well-developed communication skills, oral presentation and extensive experience with project-based work;
- You have a helicopter view and can work well under time pressure
- Fluent Dutch
Location: Arnhem (fixed days are Monday (often, not always) and Wednesday). Hybrid working is negotiable for the other days;
