Advisor Project Advisor Integrated Safety
We ARE Renewables, is looking for an Advisor for one of our clients in The Netherlands, to be a part of The Incident Management Water & Shipping project team. The advisor is a part of the technical management discipline, which falls under the responsibility of the Technical Manager;
You coordinate all operational work, management measures and activities in the field of safety within the project and make an important contribution to the quality assurance of all safety products and advice from external parties.
You are responsible for specific substantive expertise, advice and input regarding integral safety in the carious phases of the project. You ensure that the frameworks and legislation in the field of integral safety are applied in the project. You identify risks and deviations and think about appropriate solutions. At tactical level you advise the Technical Manager and/or the Project Manager and coordinate with the H&S coordinator associated with the project.
Your responsibilities:
- Contribute to safety within the production line (directing objectives and ambition)
- Advising the Technical Manager on the assurance of integral safety and the application of safety frameworks and guidelines throughout the project (or motivation for deviations);
- Drawing up, implementing and evaluating various integrated safety plans and risk inventories and evaluation (RI&E);
- Drawing up integral safety files;
- Coordinate and direct all operational work, management measures and activities in the field of safety within the project;
- Managing and assessing the safety products that are requested from external parties;
- You have at least a completed HBO (or WO) education in the field of Integrated Safety Science;
- You have knowledge of and at least 4 years of demonstrable work experience with safety science and associated legislation and regulations;
- You are in possession of VCA certificate ‘Safety for Operational Managers VCU’ (VOL-VCA).
- You have demonstrable knowledge of and experience in drawing up and assessing VenG plans.
- You have demonstrable knowledge of and experience with drawing up and executing safety walks.
- You have demonstrable knowledge of and experience in advising on applicable laws and regulations regarding safety;
- You have demonstrable of and experience in proactively stimulating the safety culture within teams.
- You have demonstrable knowledge of and experience or affinity with shipping and or/handling incidents on and around the water;
Hours per week: 12 hours
