We ARE Renewables is looking for a construction supervisor for our client. You will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the quality, safety and progress of work on the construction site with regard to your own discipline. Taking into account professional guidelines, legislation and regulations, requirements as described in the contract and/or design documents, the QHSE policy, with instructions from the Construction/Project Manager, so that the work in the construction phase is delivered in accordance with the contract agreements.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring the contractor's progress and scope of work, as well as identifying delays and ensuring that the contractor takes corrective measures in a timely manner. Taking into account the sequence of activities as recorded in the planning approved by the Construction/Project Manager, in order to complete the construction phase of your own discipline according to the set requirements;
  • Checking, monitoring and having the work of the executing party corrected, in accordance with general technical guidelines, laws and regulations, applicable norms and standards and specific requirements from the specifications, in order to contribute to the quality of the work;
  • Monitoring compliance with QHSE aspects on the construction site, reporting unsafe situations and taking corrective measures, in accordance with legislation and regulations and specific customer requirements, so that safety and health for employees of the various parties involved are guaranteed and unsafe situations and accidents are prevented;
  • Reporting on the current status of the work to the Construction/Project Manager, taking into account the agreements made, in order to coordinate the work in the construction phase of the project and thus promote progress;
  • Checking additional work and reporting on this to the Construction/Project Manager, in accordance with the interpretation of the specifications, material extraction and unit prices applied, in order to provide insight into and monitor costs.

What do you have to offer:
  • A completed technical MBO or HBO education;
  • You have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Construction Supervisor on large construction projects;
  • A good command of the Dutch (pre) and English (must) language, spoken and written;             
  • You are in possession of a driving license (advantage).
  • In addition, you are confident and results-oriented.
