We ARE Renewables is looking for a Training Coordinator for one of our clients within the renewables and dredging industry.  You will be responsible for the execution of the training plan of the crew. You will make sure all employees on board the vessels will meet the required training methods and standards specific for each role.

Your responsibilities:
  • Keep training certificates and personal documents updated in file;
  • Keep training certificates and personal documents updated in HR data system (Seacrew)
  • Application Certificate or Competency and Seaman books (Dutch, Cyprus and Panama Flag);
  • Keep Safety certificates updated, make sure crewmembers take their refreshers;
  • Coordinate and make logistical arrangements for training and courses (accommodation, tickets, local transportation);
  • NINA Expedition, schedule crewmembers in for this expedition; arrange meeting rooms, lunches;
  • Arrange medical appointments for crew;
  • HR related, make sure relevant ranks have their ‘’ Terms of Reference’’ file performance reviews;
  • R&D Fund declaration;
Your profile:
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Relevant work experience or learning & development role or training company would be preferred;
  • Good command of the English (written and spoken), Remarkable organizational skills;

Location: Papendrecht
Hours per week: 40 hours
Employment type: Freelance/Contract
Intended period: 1st of February 2024 – 1st of September 2024
