Description of Works Manager

We ARE Renewables is looking for a Works Manager for the operational execution of works on site, and manage offshore installation projects. You can rely on a team of site superintendents and project engineers. You will be reporting directly to the project manager.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • You are going to organize the planning of the work. 
  • You are going to focus on the optimization and execution of the project. 
  • You are going to take care of the client’s needs (internal and external).
  • You are going to contribute to the efficient realization of the project activities.
  • You will organize the planning of the work. 
  • You will manage QHSE-S standards and keep the project within time and budget. 
  • You work closely together with Superintendents and Project Engineers on site and you coordinate the operational staff. 
Requirements:
  • You have a master's degree in (Civil) Engineering, preferably with a specialization in construction, or the equivalent by experience. 
  • At least 3 years of experience with complex offshore engineering projects is required. 
  • Willing to go offshore in rotations for long periods of time.
  • You can work autonomously and are a problem-solver by nature. 
  • You have a hands-on mentality. 
  • Teamwork is one thing you value highly. 
  • Working abroad on one of our projects for a longer period of time is no issue. 
  • English is our common language. Knowledge of any other language is an asset.
